In February 2012, Santia Consulting Limited launched its specialist food proposition under the brand name of Santia Food Safety Services. This new focus provided real added value benefits for clients across a broad range of services including: Food Safety Compliance and Auditing, Accredited and Applied Training, and erisk (Santia’s bespoke audit software platform).
As part of a recent business review to analyse the success of Santia Food Safety Services, the operation of the UKAS Accredited Schemes were also considered. The outcome of this review is, that with effect from the 31st October 2012, Santia Certification will cease to offer BOPP, LEAF and ISO 22000 certification. This decision will allow the business to continue to focus on its core strengths within the food sector and further develop its customer focused solutions.
Santia Certification has formally communicated with all sites regarding the arrangements for their next audit.
All sites should note that Santia Certification continues to own and is responsible for all certificates issued, for the duration of their validity.
